If you take aim at nothing, chances are 99.99% you will hit nothing. In otherwords, your success or achievement rate is 0.01%. (I think that is pretty challenging.) Even if you do hit something in a crowded terrain or environment, your productivity level would still be less. This is because
whatever you may have hit in that purposeless aim may have no contributory factor in your measurement of achievement/productivity.
Show me a man who keeps taking aim at nothing and I will show you a man that will eventually become disllusioned with himself and with life. I encourage you to guard against anything that could birth disllusionment in your being.
If however you take aim at something specific, all things being equal, you have a 50/50 chance of success.
Productivity is determined by the specifics that you target towards.
An ancient writing by Jesus Christ, the greatest, declares "...My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work..." He defined His purpose and then began targetting to achieve it. That is how productivity in a defined direction is measured!
Obviously, it's not enough to take aim. You must inevitably SHOOT - if you must have productivity answer to your name. I urge you therefore, choose a specific area and direct your energies and time towards the achievement of the purpose. The results will release fresh strength and stamina to go on into your being.
A wise man outlined the gains of keeping your gaze and focus towards a particular direction. I'll be making references to those in my next post.
